About People Admin

The Georgia Gwinnett College Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce the implementation of a new recruitment software, PeopleAdmin. Effective February 25, 2009, all Georgia Gwinnett College staff and faculty applicants (internal and external) will apply for vacancies using the new on-line application system, PeopleAdmin.

This cooperative venture promises to streamline internal processes for hiring and providing improved feedback to candidates during the recruitment process.

All current job openings at Georgia Gwinnett College will be posted electronically. Candidates can access full job specifications through a broad search or narrow their choices by category or job title. Applicants will be able to complete one application for more than one job opening simultaneously.

For walk-in candidates, the Office of Human Resources offers computers in our Library mezzanine where candidates can complete the online form. With the implementation of PeopleAdmin, Georgia Gwinnett College will no longer be accepting fax, email, or hard copies of resumes and applications.

PeopleAdmin is an Austin, TX based company specializing in systems that automate many paper and staff-intensive processes associated with Higher Education Human Resources. Over 300 leading Colleges and Universities such as; Georgia Southern University, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University, Georgia College & State University, Savannah State University, Albany State University, and The University of Georgia have selected PeopleAdmin to dramatically reduce the time and costs associated with the employment application and position management process. Is The Job Still Open?
All jobs that are currently posted on our Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) employment website are open.

What Is The Status of My Application?
The status of your application will update as the hiring office reviews applications. Once an office "closes" a position, it means they are no longer accepting more applications, and the listing is removed from the job posting. It may be some time between the time an office closes the position and when they fill the position. All jobs must be posted for at least 10 working days before any offer can be made. However, for many positions in universities, there can be long lag times (sometimes up to 6 months or more), between the time a job is posted and the time it is filled. If it's still on the posting, it's still an active vacancy.

If a hiring office wishes to interview you for a position, they will contact you directly. If you are not selected for the position, you will receive an email of regret.

In addition to checking the status of your application, you can also search the current vacancies, update your application and change the password of your account. When you have completed accessing those areas of interest, always remember to log out. The employment application may contain your personal and private information. Should you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Human Resources at 678.407.5070. You can also email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
