Library

The 90,000 square-foot Library has a capacity for 300,000 volumes.

The Library

Facts about the Library:

37 study rooms that can be used for group and project work.
The Academic Enhancement Center, Quiet Reading Room, Heritage Lecture Room and the Center for Teaching Excellence are housed in the Library.
Jazzman's Cafe is located on the main floor and serves light refreshments.
The Library has a gold-level certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program.
- The Library promotes the whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in six key areas of human and environmental health.
- GGC's Library is the first academic library in Georgia to achieve LEED Gold certification.
