Janieria Dupree is an Athens, Ga. native and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of West Georgia in May 2017, where she majored in psychology. She developed a passion for higher education and student affairs through being involved in numerous student organizations at UWG, such as University Ambassadors, University Student Recruiter, Blue Coats and Phi Sigma Pi National Honors Fraternity. Through these organizations, she has learned how important it is for high school students to continue their education and be confident in what they choose for their career paths and future endeavors.
“I love when students come back to me after being admitted and continuously show me their progress throughout the years, up until they graduate," says Dupree. "It makes my days so exciting!”
In her spare time, Dupree loves to hang with family and friends. She also enjoys watching a new television series every chance she gets.
