Biography

Ms. Stephanie Peppas graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in mathematics from Agnes Scott College and an M.A.T. in mathematics from Georgia State University. For more than 12 years, she lived and worked in Europe, where she was involved with intercultural education. Courses taught included statistics, calculus, quantitative methods and decision theory. In the US, prior to joining GGC, she taught at Oglethorpe and Mercer universities.

She has used her statistical knowledge in several expert witness reports and has served as a cross-cultural adult and youth trainer, working with employees and family members of international corporations, such as GM, Coca-Cola and CRX. She received certification in supervision of instruction and has been awarded numerous distinctions and honors including the STAR Teaching Award, an election to the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society, Teacher Evaluator (named by DeKalb County Board of Education), and a Highly Commended Award from MCB University Press for her paper, "Choosing the Right Employee: Chinese vs. U.S. Preferences" (with K. Jin). Since 1995, she has been involved with Study Abroad programs for Mercer University and, most recently, for GGC.
