Dr. Xiaoping Li

Dr. Xiaoping Li was born in a teacher’s family and grew up loving math and science since very early childhood. She developed a passion for teaching from graduate school and joined GGC in Fall 2011. Before that, Li had several years of industrial experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. She enjoys her career as both teacher and scientist.
Li obtained her Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry, with a focus in studying separation science. She has worked on varies of projects, including challenging chiral separations and ultra-fast peptide separations. She has also worked on two-dimensional separations with liquid chromatography. Her research interests are solving challenging analytical separations in environmental science, food science and pharmaceutical science.
