Georgia Senator Jason Carter, grandson of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter, spoke before a large crowd of students, faculty and staff at Georgia Gwinnett College today. As the second speaker in the distinguished Grizzly Growl Speaker Series presented by the Office of Student Involvement, Carter spoke on the theme of “service,” one of the college’s four core values. Afterward, he visited with event attendees and signed copies of his new book, “Power Lines.” Here, Carter receives an award of appreciation from Sean George, vice president of the GGC Student Government Association.
