GGC to host event on impact of air quality on personal health

Georgia Gwinnett College’s Office of Environmental Health and Safety has invited Nyasha Dunkley, deputy state climatologist for the State of Georgia, to campus on Tuesday, April 17 for a presentation on the science used to determine air quality forecasts in Georgia. The discussion, held in Building C, Cisco Auditorium from 11 a.m. to noon, will focus on how it impacts personal health and what individuals can do to improve the air quality in their community.

GGC fall enrollment continues to increase year after year

Since opening its doors in 2006, Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) has experienced an enrollment increase every fall semester. Official data recently released by the University System of Georgia (USG) lists GGC’s fall 2017 enrollment at an impressive 12,287. This total reflects an increase of 1.9 percent over last year, affirming GGC as the eighth largest of the 28 institutions within the USG.
