The Annual Program Review (APR) process is cyclical and involves the collection and analysis of information about each program's activities. Ultimately, this allows the College to assess the individual program's efficacy in meeting stated goals. It also enables the College to evaluate the program's contributions to the overall institutional priorities.

Mid-November – Mid-February
- Program faculty identify disciplinary best practices and trends.
- Program faculty identify any additional data needs.
Mid – Late February
- Program faculty collectively review assessment data to determine findings.
- Program faculty enter assessment findings into Weaveonline.
- Using assessment findings, program administrators develop response action plans.
- Program administrators enter action plans into Weaveonline.
- The program faculty completes a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analysis of their individual programs.
- Input sources for the SWOT include student demographics, program productivity data, grade distributions, alumni placement information and faculty productivity data
- The program faculty completes response plans that emerge from SWOT analysis.
- The program faculty completes first draft of the APR.
- The program faculty completes final draft of the APR.
- The program faculty submits final draft for review by the director of Institutional Effectiveness and the associate vice president for Academic Affairs.
- Program faculty submit response to reviewers' comments.
Mid-October – End of October
- Program faculty conduct an oral briefing for the vice presidents of Academic and Student Affairs, Resources and Educational Technology as well as the associate vice president of Academic Affairs, the director of Institutional Effectiveness and the academic deans.
