Georgia Gwinnett College and Gwinnett County Public Schools have teamed up to offer an affordable evening/weekend program that will allow you to complete your bachelor’s degree and become certified in special education. Fast Facts

  • Designed for paraprofessionals or other working adults who want to complete a bachelor’s degree and gain certification in special education.
  • Prepare to work with children and youth with disabilities in grades Pre-K – 12th grade.
  • Classes on weeknights and Saturdays.
  • Students move through the program as part of a cohort group. No need to worry about what classes to take or when they will be offered.
  • Eligible students should have completed most of their general curriculum requirements before enrollment in GGC Complete.
  • Complete a bachelor’s degree in five to six semesters.
  • In addition to being accepted to GGC, students must meet separate admission criteria for the Educator Preparation program.
