Vision
The School of Science and Technology provides innovative programs in science, math and technology characterized by interdisciplinary learning, novel use of educational technology and an active learning environment that stimulates critical thinking.
Mission
The School provides an innovative, outcomes-based learning experience in programs of study in biology, exercise science, math and information technology. Programs offer disciplinary and interdisciplinary courses, as well as practical and applied learning experiences that prepare students for post-graduate schooling or for positions of responsibility in education, business, medicine or government. The School also provides general education experiences that produce graduates who demonstrate math, science, and technology literacy and that foster an understanding of the role of these disciplines in our society in an uncertain and changing world.
