Biography

Dr. Nolan received his Ph.D. in biochemistry and genetics, and he enjoys teaching genetics, biotechnology, biochemistry, general biology and bioinformatics. He leads a research project that investigates the evolution of viral genomes by determining their DNA sequences. This project is funded by the National Science Foundation and students contribute to the project in laboratory courses such as Biotechnology Lab (BIOL4300) and in independent research projects.
