Biography

Dr. Liu has 15 years of information technology industry experience, serving as a principal IT architect, lead system engineer and C-level IT service consultant. His expertise areas include TCP/IP internet, IT systems and E2E applications.

  • The TCP/IP protocol suite has become the de facto standard for computer communications in today's Internet world. We use the Internet not only for entertainment and information web, but to conduct our business by performing business transactions and delivering services to customers. We are continually extending the set of applications that leverage TCP/IP, thereby driving the need for further infrastructure support.
  • IT systems are ubiquitous at our modern data age. Every day, we access many common IT utility infrastructure, from web servers to application servers, from ordering systems to billing systems and various engines in between. We are growing new enterprise/consumer services for education, government, healthcare and telecom industries, therefore training next generation of IT professionals.
  • End-to-end applications reflect a new paradigm. Over time, we have experienced the IT industry evolve from stand-alone development into distributed services with end-to-end flows and middleware productions. In recent years, the underlying platforms evolve from networked computing to grid computing and cloud computing. We are pushing the IT boundary thereafter allowing more and more complex functions into the IT domains.
