Earn Credit As You Travel the World
This is an exciting opportunity that allows you to earn college credit and visit other parts of the world at the same time!
Europe 2010
Become a part of the School of Business' very own Study Abroad group to Europe! You will be bound for Belgium, France and Switzerland, and can earn three or six hours of upper-level business credit toward your degree.
The travel portion of the course is planned for the break between Spring and Summer sessions, May 11-23, 2010.
Participation is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of the travel portion of Study Abroad is $3,725 and includes round-trip airfare, double occupancy hotel accommodations, hot breakfast buffets, intercity transfer via bullet train, private motorcoach transportation for corporate visits and more!
Study Abroad is open to all upper-level undergraduate students as well as friends of the College. Tuition and fees are not included in the cost quoted above.
Course Description:
Study Abroad (BUSA 4500 and MKTG 4500) is a cross-listed, upper-division, elective course.
Analysis of the role and impact of cultural, economic, social, political and legal factors on business through travel to a foreign country or countries. It includes lectures, discussions and facilities tours. Direct costs such as airfare, hotels, etc. are added to normal tuition costs.

China 2010
Experience one of the world's oldest civilizations. Study in the cities of Zhengzhou and Shanghai and travel to landmark destinations such as Beijing, Xi'an, Luyang, Shaolin, Suzhou and Nanjing. You can choose from three options:
- May 9 - June 7, 2010:
General Studies - earn up to six semester credits in general studies of economics, history, political science, psychology or world literature
- June 6 - July 10, 2010:
Chinese Language and Culture - earn nine credits in Chinese language and culture
- Joint Option - sign up for both and earn 15 credit hours
The 4-week General Studies option is $3,650 and includes roundtrip airfare, lodging and most meals, class field trips, weekend excursions, most ground transportation and visa application. The 4-week Chinese Language option is $1,690 and includes lodging and some meals, class field trips and weekend excursions. The 8-week Joint Option is $5,340. (Pricing for all options is for travel portion only; tuition is not included.)
