You are considered a non-traditional freshman if you:
- Have been out of high school for at least five years and your high school class graduated at least five years ago
- You have a high school diploma from an accredited or approved high school or you’ve satisfactorily completed the GED
- You have earned fewer than 30 transferable semester credit hours
If you are a non-traditional freshman, there will be a screening for placement in learning support courses using a placement test to determine exemption from Reading, English and Mathematics.
You’ll also need to meet the minimum 2.00 GPA requirement.
See the GGC Catalog for more information about non-traditional student admissions.
