Movie Night under the Stars: Thor

Greenlight invites you to relax in the Housing Ampitheatre as we present the movie Thor.
Free food, great movie.

Bear Trap: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Trap a Grizzly, win a prize. Greenlight invites all students living on campus to "catch" one of our special Grizzly magnets, which will be hidden throughout campus housing - including your room! Prizes awarded for the most magnets collected.

March through the Arch & Meet the Faculty: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

If you are a new transfer student or an incoming freshman, join us for this symbolic march through GGC's Arch of Knowledge. As you exit the arch, you will be greeted by the "Faculty Gauntlet": a receiving line of the men and women who will be your intellectual mentors during your time at GGC. The first 500 new students who get their Claw Cards swiped at this event will get to register for spring 2012 classes ahead of their classmates. Help us kick off the first Grizzly Night of the year! Come dressed in the attire of your favorite decade - or whatever suits your fancy. We'll have D.J., lots of food, arcade games, a build-your-own bear event and much more.

Saturday, Aug. 20

Bear Fair: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

The Bear Fair will introduce our newest GGC residents to campus life. It will feature informational tables, gear and other surprises.

Get into the Green Scene: 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Come out and meet reps from student organizations and other GGC venues. We'll have a rock wall, free water bottles, food and even a tie-dye-your-own-T-shirt booth.

Tailgate Party for the Gwinnett Braves:

5:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Come out and cheer on the local team. We'll get the party started with food and games at 5:00 p.m. and then we'll load up the buses and head down to Coolray Stadium to watch the game. Reserve a spot by logging onto Collegiatelink.
