Students who are eligible for Veterans Affairs (VA) Educational Benefits can use their benefits while enrolled at GGC. To Apply for VA Benefits please go to the Veterans Online Application System (VONAPP) and complete the application online. For a paper application, please visit the VA website to download and complete an application. In addition to the application, the student will need to submit a copy of their DD214 or a letter of eligibility to the Office of Financial Aid in order for the benefits to be certified.
Students who are under the Chapter 30, Chapter 1606, or Chapter 1607 programs must certify their attendance each month. This can be done by certifying online at the WAVE website or by calling 1.877.823.2378.
