Grizzly Days is GGC's Welcome Week! When the new semester begins, be sure to check out what's going on during your first week at school. You will find out more about campus, meet other students, have fun and get great food and 'stuff' at the various events!

Also, another way to familiarize yourself with the GGC campus is to follow GGC on Foursquare. Check-in at different locations, follow tips left by students, faculty and staff and explore the campus on your mobile device. It's also a fun way to make friends with other GGC students and help each other learn the campus by using the application.

What is Foursquare?

To use Foursquare, simply register (or login if you're already registered - it's all free). Once you've logged in find us at our Foursquare page and click the "follow Georgia Gwinnett" button.

Foursquare is what's known as a geolocation game, which tracks where you are through your mobile phone's GPS. If you have an Android or an iPhone, you can download and install a Foursquare application that will give you the opportunity to "check-in" at different locations with your phone.

As you check-in, you might earn badges or become "Mayor" of a location. Sometimes, you might even unlock special discounts at local businesses after checking in. You can also follow other GGC users, leave tips at GGC locations you visit or even create your own GGC venues (for instance, "my favorite study spot"). Get started by visiting our Foursquare page.
