Major: Business Administration, with a marketing concentrationHomero Gonzalez

Graduation year: 2011

Where do you work? ULTIM Marketing

Clubs/Organizations you were a part of at GGC: President of the Organization of Latin American Students for three consecutive years. SGA Senator (2009-2010) and SGA VP (2010-2011). I was also involved with Students for Christ, Indian Cultural Exchange (ICE) and Creative Collective.

How has GGC helped prepare you for where you are today? The two things I can attribute to my preparation for the “real world” were having professors whose interest were to not only to help me grow intellectually, but also as an individual. I also had the privilege of assuming leadership positions, which opened many doors for me during my time at GGC.

Favorite memory about GGC: My four years at GGC are filled with great memories. But as a son of immigrants who came to this country to give their children a better life and education, graduation has to be my favorite memory at Georgia Gwinnett College. On that day, not only did I achieve a personal goal, I helped my parents achieve theirs.
