The first day of New Part-Time Faculty Orientation provides all new part-time faculty with an introduction to Georgia Gwinnett College. At this time, new part-time faculty will learn about the following:

  • GGC’s culture and environment presented by Dr. T.J. Arant, senior vice president for Academic and Student Affairs/provost; Terrance Schneider, interim vice president of Operations and Sandra Schneider, director of Payroll and Benefits.
  • The emphasis placed on teaching presented by Dr. Brian Etheridge, director of the Center for Teaching Excellence.
  • How GGC faculty help students succeed presented by Mr. Frank Roberts, assistant dean of the Library; Registrar's Office; Dr. Justin Jernigan, dean for the School of Transitional Studies, and Mr. Tomas Jimenez, senior associate vice president for Student Affairs.

  • Please turn in I-9 forms to the Human Resources staff in the Student Center Dining Hall. HR staff are also available during business hours in B-2500.
  • Parking permits will be issued in the Student Center Dining Hall. Permits may also be obtained from Campus Security, D-1123.
  • ID cards must be obtained from the Claw Card Office, D Building, D-1407, the Deans' offices will work directly with new faculty to assist them in obtaining their Claw Card.
