Freshmen

zfalkenberryApplicants who have never attended college or who have earned fewer than 30 transferable semester hours from a previous regionally-accredited college are classified as freshmen. A traditional freshman is a student who graduated from high school or passed the General Educational Development (GED) within five years of expected term of enrollment.

GGC strives to create a fun and interactive learning environment for its students, including unique hands-on academic programs and newly built suite-style residence halls, as well as the Student Center. There are many activities on campus that are put on by the student-led clubs and active intramural sports program. Additionally, students can participate in community service projects and off-campus excursions. GGC offers students all kinds of ways to get involved, make friends — and have fun!
