Other Courses Available

GGC offers courses and areas of study for students interested in entering the medical field, nursing, medical technology and other related occupations. See a complete list of courses available on the Programs of Study page.

GGC has a variety of Student Success Programs, which are designed to help students be successful academically. For instance, the Academic Enhancement Center provides free tutoring and the English for Academic Purposes Program provides courses for English as a second language (ESL) students. Growing and Growing

New BuiLDINGS

  • Residence halls opened in August 2010. There are more than 1,000 beds, and it serves as a community for on-campus residents.
  • The new Library and Learning Center also opened in August 2010. It is more than 90,000-square-feet, and it has the capacity for 300,000 volumes.
  • The new Student Center opened in February 2011. It houses the Barnes and Noble Bookstore, student government offices, Student Affairs offices and the 700-seat dining facilities.
  • Slated to open in the Fall of 2011 is a new instructional laboratory facility that will accommodate the college’s rapidly expanding student body. Featuring seven modern, multi-disciplinary laboratories and an instrumentation core, the sleek facility is designed for optimum function in meeting the young college’s critical need for more laboratory space.
