The CDAC offers a variety of services and resources that will support our students’ goals towards meaningful, rewarding lives and careers. The philosophy of our office is to encourage individuals to take a proactive role in charting the course of their lives, and through the process of setting realistic academic and career goals, they will achieve greater success and personal satisfaction than those who passively let life happen to them.

Organization Visibility

Establishing a campus presence is a crucial part of any recruiting strategy. Increasing your visibility means forging an on-going partnership with a great local partner in education. We are YOUR college. Of course, every employer has unique needs. That's why we offer a host of opportunities designed to help you connect with our students. Mock Interview and Resume Review

Volunteer your time at our Center to conduct mock interviews with our students or conduct resume reviews on an as needed basis. The Career Development and Advising Center will coordinate your schedule and advertise to students that you will be visiting campus to provide these services on the day you designate to be convenient.

Internships

Hiring interns lays the foundation for future growth. Internship programs not only allow you to see potential employees in action, they also promote professional wisdom and lessons that will benefit the student and employer.

We host a variety of interactive and learning programs for our students on campus each semester. From Industry Nights to Career Fairs to major-specific group events, there is a venue or program designed for YOUR expertise and knowledge. Career Fairs

Every year Georgia Gwinnett College’s Career Development and Advising Center hosts a Career Fair, giving you the opportunity to provide students with information about your organization. This event takes place on campus at the College. Many students who attend the fairs are exploring a career field or industry; others are highly focused and are seeking specific job opportunities.
