How to get your Claw Card

Getting you Claw Card is a simple process. Simply go to the Claw Card Office. You’ll need to bring a driver’s license or similar form of I.D. The friendly staff will confirm your GGC status and your photo will be taken. You’ll walk away with your Claw Card in hand. There is no charge for your initial Claw Card, however, there is a replacement fee of $15.

How to add money to your Claw Card

When you add money to your Claw Card, you are adding Cave Cash. There are two ways to do this:

  • Visit Student Accounts, located in Building D1147. Payments in cash and/or by credit card are accepted.
  • Use the PHIL Machine, located in the Building B Atrium. Just deposit cash to add Cave Cash to your card.

Claw Card Funds: The breakdown

  • Dining Dollars – These are the funds that are placed on your card after you pay tuition.  These funds can be used at all of the campus dining venues: Quiznos, Pete’s Arena, Marketplace and GGCity Café.  These funds will roll over from Fall to Spring semester and will expire on the final day of summer semester.
  • Cave Cash – These funds are voluntary and do not expire. Cave Cash can be used at all the campus dining venues just like Dining Dollars, but in addition, Cave Cash can be used for vending machines (when so equipped), the GGC Bookstore and Student Accounts. Refunds can be requested in amounts greater than $20.00 upon graduation or withdrawal from the College.
  • Bookstore Vouchers – Depending on your financial aid, you may be issued a bookstore voucher. Student Accounts will place these funds on your Claw Card to be used at the GGC Bookstore.

Future Uses of the Claw Card

As GGC grows, the Claw Card’s use will grow with it. For instance, the Claw Card will be the entrance card for the new Residence Halls and you’ll use it to operate the Residence Hall laundry facilities.  Eventually, it will also become your parking pass for lots and decks on campus.

Claw Card Office Location

The Claw Card Office is located in Building A, Room 1850.
