How to add money to your Claw Card

When you add money to your Claw Card, you are adding Cave Cash. There are two ways to do this:

  • Visit Student Accounts, located in Building D1147. Payments in cash and/or by credit card are accepted.
  • Use the PHIL Machine, located in the Building B Atrium. Just deposit cash to add Cave Cash to your card.

Claw Card Funds: The breakdown

  • Dining Dollars – GGC dining services allow you to pay using Munch Money, Cave Cash, cash or credit cards. All commuter students enrolled with less than 30 credit hours will be assigned the $215 default meal plan of 15 visits to the dining hall and $100 Munch Money stored on their Claw card.  All meal plans are per semester; however, the remainder of your Munch Money will roll forward from fall to spring semester and up to $100 of Munch Money will roll over from spring to the summer semesters. During the summer, your meal plan will expire after final exams on the last day that residents students are allowed to remain in the residence halls. Meal plans do not transfer. If you would like to change your meal plan, you must do so within the first two days of the semester by visiting Student Accounts in the D Building. If your Munch Money balance gets low, you can reload your Claw Card at any time during the semester in any amount. Again, simply visit the Student Accounts Office located in Building D.

Cave Cash – These funds are voluntary and do not expire. Cave Cash can be used at all the campus dining venues just like Dining Dollars, but in addition, Cave Cash can be used for vending machines (when so equipped), the GGC Bookstore and Student Accounts.

Bookstore Vouchers – Depending on your financial aid, you may be issued a bookstore voucher. Student Accounts will place these funds on your Claw Card to be used at the GGC Bookstore.
