Dr. Rogers received his doctorate of arts from Middle Tennessee State University in physical education and has over 15 years experience in higher education. Prior to arriving at GGC, he served as an assistant professor of physical education, director of athletics and director of tennis. A successful tennis coach, Dr. Rogers has coached 14 national champions. Thanks to his impressive record, he received the United States Tennis Association’s Outstanding Community Service Award and a resolution by Georgia’s House of Representatives commending his outstanding collegiate efforts. Most recently, Dr. Rogers was inducted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame in the category of tennis.
