Recreation and Intramural Sports

The Office of Recreation and Intramural Sports offers students exciting opportunities for athletic and recreational activities on campus and in the community. GGC recognizes the value in building a dynamic environment for co-curricular activities. A strong recreation and intramural program cultivates a sense of campus community, promotes peer socializing and networking, and fortifies academic success.

Recreation

Are you ready for some fun? Explore the surrounding area and your wild side with an outdoor adventure. Excursions include hiking, sailing and rock wall climbing, to name a few. Or stay closer to home and sign up for a racquetball tournament or a Wii Sports video game competition. There’s also the option of dropping by the Rec Room in Building D, where you can shoot pool or play a challenging game of chess. See the Recreation page for details.

Intramural Sports

Get into the action and join the fun! GGC students can participate in several popular sports programs, including 3-on-3 basketball, indoor soccer, tennis, golf, dodgeball, racquetball, indoor flag football and sand volleyball. See the Intramural Sports page for details.
