Mission and Vision

Mission

The mission of the Recreation and Intramurals Program is to support the
greater goals of Georgia Gwinnett College by providing opportunities for
respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership, and sportsmanship to all
students, faculty, and staff through the medium of movement and
competition. Recreation and Intramural Sports supports the holistic
development of the student by providing a platform that contributes to their
social and personal interaction with others and promotes physical well-being.

Vision

The Office of Recreation Intramural Sports will be a model program that
develops students emotionally, intellectually, occupationally, physically, socially
and spiritually while supporting the integrated educational outcome goals
through collaboration with the campus community.
