GGC Student Health 101 Archive

The Wellness and Recreation Center is an integral and active office at GGC. Students, faculty and staff can enjoy a wide variety of fitness and exercise activities in our state-of-the-art facility. The GGC Wellness and Recreation Center fosters the holistic development of the college community by promoting healthy lifestyle choices such as regular exercise, the benefits of which include:

  • Increased energy
  • Increased strength and stamina
  • Increased mental focus
  • Reduced stress
  • Decreased risk of heart disease
  • Decreased risk of diabetes
  • Improved weight managemet

Important: You must have your Claw Card to enter the Wellness and Recreation Center, even if you are attending an academic class. No exceptions.

Location

The Wellness and Recreation Center is located in Building F.

Hours

Wellness and Recreation Center Intersession Hours, May 9 - May 22
Monday - Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Wellness and Recreation Center Summer Hours, May 23 - July 25
Monday - Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Please note that all hours are subject to change due to the academic calendar, unforeseen circumstances and/or maintenance schedules.
