Meet the Staff
In addition to the Director and Assistant Director, the Wellness and Recreation Center employs several GGC students. All Wellness and Recreation Center staff members are CPR certified.

The Wellness and Recreation Center staff is cross-trained across several positions to help keep the facility running smoothly. The specific roles are described below:
Membership Services
The membership services staff manages overall operation of the membership services desk at the Wellness and Recreation Center. The membership services staff is highly knowledgeable of all Wellness and Recreation Center policies and procedures as well as programming. They verify membership through the membership database and checkout free play equipment for open recreation areas.
Rover
Rovers assist in ensuring Wellness and Recreation Center members have a great experience. They assist other Wellness and Recreation Center staff in managing the facility, answering questions, taking hourly stats and cleaning equipment as needed.
Fitness Attendant
Fitness attendants are responsible for ensuring the safety and exercise efficacy of all Wellness and Recreation Center weight room and cardio area participants through education of proper lifting techniques, proper machine use and the enforcement of policies and procedures, including but not limited to maintaining cleanliness of the Wellness and Recreation Center.
Team Leader
Team leaders are responsible for promoting leadership, good communication, teamwork and the safe and fun daily operation of the Wellness and Recreation Center. In addition, the team leader may serve as a set-up crew chief for events held at the Wellness and Recreation Center. Team Leaders also play an integral role in resolution and mediation of conflict. They also manage all aspects of the Wellness and Recreation Center in the absence of the director or assistant director.
Lifeguard
Lifeguards maintain a safe and fun environment in the GGC Wellness and Recreation Center pool. They enforce policies, rules and regulations as well as recognize and respond to emergencies. They maintain pool participant stats and help to ensure participants have an enjoyable experience in the pool.
