Atlanta Boxer Rescue
Help rescue dogs, nurse them back to health, and find homes for them.

Aurora Theatre
Ongoing production assistance and education opportunities. The Aurora Theatre is located in Downtown Lawrenceville and is supported by GGC through the GGC Lab Series. There are great opportunities to be involved in the arts and culture of Gwinnett County.

County Co-Op Volunteers
The local Gwinnett County Co-Ops are seeking help from volunteers in time, talent and collection. We encourage your student organization to work with the SLAACE office for any on-campus collections for Co-Ops.

Daffy's Pet Soup Kitchen
A pet food bank serving North and Central Georgia. Volunteers needed to assist in the warehouse sorting and distributing pet food and assisting at the thrift store. Opportunities are also available to help with special events and/or fundraisers. Volunteers who have experience with creating/maintaining websites or with basic computer skills a plus.

Family Promise
Ongoing  - Office angel volunteer

Office volunteers are needed at the Family Promise Day Center to work one of three daily shifts. Responsibilities include answering the phone, light office work, and some interaction with the families. Shifts are as follows Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.; 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Georgia SPCA
Volunteers needed to care for basic needs of animals at the shelter to friendly greeters, and Shelter Supervisors are now available.  Even one day a month makes a difference for these animals.

Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful
From individual actions you can take every day to improve your neighborhood and community, volunteers are often needed community-wide events.  GGC participates with Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful for Great Days of Service in October annually and in the spring for the Great American Clean-up.

HOME SCHOOL PROM Volunteer Committee – need volunteers to help our home school students in Gwinnett have a night to remember!  Home School Prom is looking for help with set-up, greeting guests, serving food/drinks, and clean-up

Hudgens Center for the Arts
Ongoing - Volunteer Docents: Ideal volunteers should have experience working with elementary-age children and have some knowledge of visual arts. Volunteers will be asked to greet the classes as they arrive for field trips, direct them through the exhibits and assist with a simple art project.

Idlewylde After School Program
Ongoing – Eight tutors needed for local afterschool program. Students need homework help Monday, Wednesday, Friday from
4:00 p.m.- 6 p.m.

Partnership Against Domestic Violence
Become an advocate for domestic violence survivors and their children. PADV recognizes the contribution that volunteers make to the success of our agency. With the assistance of dedicated volunteers, we are able to continue our mission of ending the crime of intimate partner violence and empowering its survivors. PADV utilizes volunteers in a variety of positions and has created a program that not only meets the needs of our agency, but also is flexible enough to meet the needs of today's volunteer. Identify yourself as a volunteer from GGC.
