Mission Statement
In order to support the institutional goals of Georgia Gwinnett College, the Wellness/Health Suite is available to assist in the holistic development of students for their best physical wellness.
Our mission is to provide information for medical self-care, as well as instructions for appropriate use of the community medical system. We will encourage personal responsibility for health that includes being able to monitor body warning signs and then seeking medical attention.
We will also strive to teach about healthy nutrition choices and how this affects body performance.
We believe that supporting a healthy body will lead to the benefits of looking good and feeling energetic, which leads to the psychological advantage of increased self-esteem, self-control, determination and a positive sense of direction in order to achieve success in college and life.
