Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are proudly owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build homes, community, and hope locally and around the world.

Interns: College interns assist in a number of areas in the Southeast Regional Office. Often, interns are given specific projects within a designated program. Internships are offered for course credit during summer, fall/winter and spring.

The costs of accepting material donations in the U.S. and then shipping them to the intended country would result in a net loss of money and resources for U.S. Fund for UNICEF that could be better directed toward existing programs. The most effective way to support U.S. Fund for UNICEF’s work is through monetary donations.
