The New GGC Library
The 90,000 square-foot library is slated to open in the fall of 2010, with a capacity for 300,000 volumes. It will have silver-level certification from the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program; LEED promotes the whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in six key areas of human and environmental health.

The Main Library is centrally located on the college campus in Building L.
Hours
The Library will be open on Saturday, Sept. 4, but it will close on Sunday and Monday, Sept. 5-6 for the Labor Day holiday. The Library will also close for Convocation on Thursday, Sept. 16 between 12:30-4:00 p.m.
