How to Find Books
Steps to Getting a Book
- Search in our library's catalog for traditional and electronic books: GIL at GGC.
- If the item you are seeking is not located at GGC, a link will appear above the GIL search screen that says, "Click here to execute this search in the GIL Universal Catalog". Click that link or click the GIL Universal Catalog button on the GIL toolbar to perform your search in the Universal Catalog (UC). This allows you to search all of the libraries in the University System of Georgia.
- If you located your item at another USG institution you can go to the library that owns the item to check it out or you may request it through Inter Library Loan. If you did not find your book in the GGC catalog or the Universal Catalog, you can complete our online form to request a book from another library.
