Don't hesitate to ask for help.

Why did you choose GGC?

I chose to pursue my education at GGC for many reasons. Since the first time I came to visit GGC, I noticed how friendly everyone was here. I had the feeling that this was the right place for me to start my college education.

Also, GGC offers small size classes with about 20 to 25 students per class.

Students benefit a lot from the small classes because it allows students to better communicate with their professors and allows professors to actually get to know their students.

Another reason I chose GGC is because it has flexible classes that allows me to balance my education, my family and my work.

What do you like most about GGC?

What I like most about GGC is how helpful the professors are and how they actually care about their students' success.

English is not my first language, and it's been a challenge for me to build up my writing skills. When I first started at GGC, I was required to take two English classes. One of those classes was English 099, a pre-college class and the other was English 1101.

I took the challenge of taking both classes during the same semester and with the same professor. By the end of the semester, I was surprised by how my writing skills had improved. Even though the classes were very challenging, I ended up with an A in both.

This wouldn't have been possible without the help and motivation that I got from the professor. There are many great professors at GGC that are committed to helping students succeed.

What do you plan to do after graduating?

After graduation I plan to prepare for the CPA exam. After I become a certified accountant, I will concentrate on finding a job. Eventually, I would like to form a business of my own and be able to create jobs.
