  • March Through the Arch
  • Thursday August 16, 2018
  • A SPECIAL WELCOME EVENT FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS

During this traditional event, all new first-year and transfer students will walk through the Arch of Knowledge, symbolizing their entrance into the community of learners at Georgia Gwinnett College.

As new students pass through the Arch of Knowledge, they will pass between two lines of GGCs faculty, who will welcome them to the college. These "faculty lines" represent the close bonds that are formed between Georgia Gwinnett's students and faculty. Returning GGC students and Alumni will also be part of welcoming new Grizzlies.

Also, at the 8th annual, "March through the Arch," GGC's entering class of 2018:

    • will be welcomed by Dr. Stas Preczewski, President
    • will be GGC's guests of honor at the reception afterwards with the faculty

All guests are invited to enjoy carnival-style games from 2 - 3 p.m. on the Library Lawn, then activities on the lawn immediately following the March.

Parents and guests also are welcome to attend March through the Arch.
