  • Gain necessary certification for health-related careers, or learn a life-saving skill during the CPR/AED Certification Course presented by the Office of Public Safety. All GGC students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in this free training series. Classes are offered beginning August 14 through November 30, each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Building I-1108. Receive this important certification in a single, three hour course.

    Have fun while pursuing your fitness goals with other Grizzly faculty and staff. Join us every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. (weather permitting) in the lobby of the Wellness and Recreation Center. Please arrive dressed and ready to run or walk the guided, pre-planned route. Runners and walkers of all fitness levels are invited to participate. The Running Club will not meet when the College is closed.

  • The Time Management in Digital Age workshop is offered to help students manage their time more effectively in today’s wired world.  The one-hour workshop offers students information on free apps and digital programs to manage their time to be more efficient, strategies to avoid procrastination and overcome information overload, and examples to prioritize and declutter.

  • The Coping with Stress Effectively workshop is offered to help students manage and reduce stress.  Students will explore the importance of learning how to cope with stress in a healthy and fun way. Students will learn how to identify internal and external triggers, strategies to eliminate unnecessary stress, and coping techniques to have the energy to handle stress.
