Join the Office of Internationalization in our 2nd Annual Study Abroad Fair. The Fair is part of the national International Education Week initiative sponsored by the U.S. Departments of Education and State. The theme is International Education: Inspiring Students Locally to Succeed Globally.
The Study Abroad Fair is one of the ways in which GGC inspires its students to broaden their horizons through global learning, foreign languages and international exchange. The Fair, which takes place this Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 12 noon to 3:00 p.m., will showcase the experiences of more than 50 GGC students who studied abroad in over eleven countries last year.
We invite you to come to the Fair to learn more about available study abroad options, look at photos and artifacts and hear student impressions of Belgium, France, Switzerland, China, Ireland, France, Germany, South Africa, Costa Rica, Colombia and the Virgin Islands, among others. Representatives from study abroad programs at Georgia Gwinnett College, CEPA-Europe and the University System of Georgia will also be on hand to discuss their various study abroad programs.
In addition, the Study Abroad Fair will feature a special Thanksgiving Day cuisine! So come and hear about the international mobility of GGC students, while you enjoy delicious food and refreshments. We encourage you to come out and support this wonderful event next week. International Education Week is a time to celebrate our connection with the world.
