At GGC, you have the ability to shape your future in ways few other students do. Pioneer a new student organization. Create a new volunteer opportunity. Create your own college experience.
Engage in community service, raise local community awareness and strengthen community involvement and citizen participation, while becoming an active citizen and leader by working with Service Learning, Active Citizenship and Community Engagement (SLACCE). Be a part of something bigger than yourself.
Get involved with one of our many campus organizations, become an elected member of the Student Government Association, plan official campus events or champion your favorite cause by organizing a fundraiser or service project. Find an organization that fits one of your interests. If you don’t see one you are interested in, start your own.
Plan entertainment and educational events for your student body, including movies, concerts, lectures, special events and more, with the Greenlight Activities Board (GAB)—an organization run by students, for students.
Gain leadership skills, learn about event planning, marketing and advertising, while bringing exciting events to campus. GAB is looking for members and already planning events for the next semester.
Once you enter our 80,000 square-foot Student Center, it’s easy to see that there’s just something about being a Grizzly. Meet with classmates in one of our student conference rooms. Grab a bite to eat in the Dining Hall. Play ping pong or billiards in the game room. Get GGC gear and class materials at the Bookstore. Or just let it all soak in as you relax in one of our comfortable Student Center lounging areas. Whatever you choose to do, the Student Center is the perfect place to let out your inner Grizzly.
Student Affairs supports active learning inside and outside of the classroom and is your ultimate resource for growth and development. We focus on creating, providing and assessing programs, services and policies that empower you and propel you on toward success.
Explore your passion and develop your leadership skills with the Office of Student Involvement. You will learn about planning and government, while volunteering and serving others.
