Biography

Dr. Amy Farah has been at Georgia Gwinnett College since 2013. She currently teaches EDUC 4600B, EDUC 4600C, EDUC 4800, ELED 3500 and Student Teaching. 

Before making the move to higher education, Farah worked in staff development with Gwinnett County Public Schools. She started her professional career as a high school English language arts teacher in Gwinnett County. She is a native of Gwinnett County and loves being able to give back to the community from which she came. 

Farah has presented her work at local, state, regional and national conferences. She has published in GCTE's Connections Journal as well as GATE's Gateways Journal. 

She enjoys traveling with her family, spending time on Lake Lanier and playing tennis.
