Rachel Nabulsi earned her B.A. in psychology from Berry College in 1993 and her M.A. in Hebrew Bible from the University of Georgia in 1997. She completed her Ph.D. in linguistics and Hebrew Bible (combined program) at the University of Georgia in 2015. Rachel’s research interests include the texts and history of the ancient Near East with a specialization in Iron Age Israel and Aram. Her book Burial Practices, Funerary Texts, and the Treatment of Death in Iron Age Israel and Aram will be published by Gorgias Press in 2017.
