Stephanie Wright: DIRECTORY

Dr. Wright is an experimental social psychologist with additional foci in methodology, statistics and developmental psychology. Her work applies models of attribution to judgments of responsibility and intent to intervene in a range of interpersonal and public health environments. In her research lab, she and her students use mixed methods to examine didactic interactions that lead to interpersonal violence or sexual assault and how the use of gendered language shapes our interpretations of and reactions to those interactions. Pedagogically, she studies the efficacy of utilizing an intersectional approach to core curricula in her program (e.g., Psychology of Women, Lifespan Development, Social Psychology, and her capstone Applied Psychology).
