Biography

Dr. Wendy Perry is a native of Philadelphia. She has dedicated her career in education by empowering students to embrace their talents and to strive for excellence. Perry has a passion for implementing fine arts programs and arts integration in the curriculum. Her passion for arts in education stems from her background as a graduate from a performing arts high school, where she majored in dance.

Her academic interests include professional development, academic coaching, mentoring teachers and promoting engaging learning opportunities for all. Perry’s educational philosophy is that everyone can learn and learning is innate.

Perry attended North Carolina Central University/NCCU earning a BA degree in sociology, Cheyney University earning a MA degree in elementary education, and Argosy University earning a specialist degree in educational leadership and a doctoral degree in educational leadership.

During her career in education, she has taught elementary, middle and high school students at public and private schools. Other experience includes presenting at local and national educational conferences.
