Biography

Dr. Yi Ding is a professor of information technology (IT) at GGC. He earned his master's degree of software engineering in the J.D. Edwards honor program at University of Nebraska Lincoln. He holds a Ph.D. in computer information systems (CIS) from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.

At GGC, he teaches undergraduate-level courses in programming, e-commerce, information security, and introductory to computing. His research interests include behavioral aspects of information system use in online service environment, computer forensics, computer security, software development methodology and the use of IT in education.

His research has been published in the Journal of ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation and presented at the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), the American Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) and the International Conference on Applications of Natural Language to Information Systems (NLDB).
