GGC to hold Open House April 30

Students interested in learning more about Georgia Gwinnett College can get an exclusive look into Georgia’s newest public four-year college at an April 30 Open House.

Students interested in learning more about Georgia Gwinnett College can get an exclusive look into Georgia’s newest public four-year college at an April 30 Open House.

The program includes an overview of the college and sessions providing information about financial aid, student success programs, student clubs and majors. There are even special sessions for parents.

GGC’s Open House program offers tours of the ‘Campus of Tomorrow.’ The high-tech campus has new facilities and an atmosphere unlike any other college in Georgia. GGC recently opened its Student Center, Library and Learning Center and student residence halls. Student athletic fields will open for fall semester.

The April 30 event will also offer an opportunity to speak with representatives of the U.S. Army ROTC program at GGC. This program was recently accredited, making special scholarships available.

GGC’s Open House begins at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until 1 p.m. Lunch is provided.

The deadline for applying to GGC for the 2011 fall semester is June 17.
