According to SFC Andrew L. Keene, GGC Grizzly Company sent five runners to participate in the 5K Fallen Heroes Run of Georgia. Another 10 cadet volunteers worked behind the scenes in supporting race operations.

“We try to get involved in the community. College students don’t always have the money, but they can lend a hand,” said Keene, who also participated in last year’s run.

In May, Grizzly Company will again reach out to the community when more than 20 cadets volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, to be held at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds.
