GGC extends fall semester deadlines

Due to demand, Georgia Gwinnett College has extended its deadline for applications for the 2014 fall semester until June 2. The college also is expanding its capabilities to meet an increased volume of phone calls.
In addition, GGC is extending its testing center hours for students who need to take the COMPASS test. The University System of Georgia requires the COMPASS test for GGC applicants who have not met the minimum score requirements on the SAT or ACT tests.
“We’re experiencing a significant increase in applications over the same time last year,” said Tee Mitchell, director of Admissions. “Expanding our call capabilities while extending the application deadline and testing center hours will give all students interested in attending GGC a better chance to complete their applications and be accepted.”
Applications for admission must be completed by June 2 and test scores and transcripts must be submitted by June 9.
