GGC named IMPACT Regional Business Awards Finalist
IMPACT Regional Business Awards will celebrate premier organizations driving economic development and job creation.
Georgia Gwinnett College has been recognized as a finalist in the IMPACT Regional Business Awards.
Presented by BB&T and hosted by the Gwinnett Chamber, the IMPACT Regional Business Awards will honor and celebrate exemplary organizations from the community at a luncheon ceremony on Thursday, May 13 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Gwinnett Center.
“Georgia Gwinnett College is pleased to be an IMPACT Regional Business Award finalist in the education category which honors excellence in higher education,” said GGC vice president of strategic communications and positioning Renee Byrd-Lewis. “In the 10 short years since our founding, GGC has changed the higher education landscape by strategically positioning its innovative model for 21st Century higher education to facilitate student success. Our success translates into success for the region, state and beyond.”
Designed to be reflective and unique to Gwinnett and across the metro Atlanta area, the IMPACT Regional Business Awards recognizes best-in-class organizations in the following areas:
- Entrepreneur (Established and Pre-Venture)
- Information Technology
- Service industry
- Small business
An overall Impact Regional Business Awards recipient will be selected from one of the above category winners.
