GGC associate professor named ACE Fellow

The American Council on Education (ACE) announced Monday that Dr. Rachel Ann Bowser, assistant dean of the School of Liberal Arts, associate professor of English and 2015-2017 GGC Faculty Senate President, has been named an ACE Fellow for the 2017-18 academic year.

GGC to host Button Gwinnett Day 2017

Georgia Gwinnett College, in partnership with Gwinnett County Public Library, will host the seventh annual Button Gwinnett Day on April 12, 2017, in celebration of Gwinnett’s history and in recognition of the Georgia signer of the Declaration of Independence for whom the county is named. The event will be held in Cisco Auditorium, Building C, from 10:00 a.m. to noon and is open to the public.

GGC recognized for innovation in international education

Georgia Gwinnett College is one of only eight colleges selected by the Institute of International Education (IIE) to be honored through its annual Andrew Heiskell Awards for Innovation in International Education. 

GGC tutoring services honored with state award


The GGC Academic Enhancement Center's (AEC)’s TIC-TAC-TOE program won a Chancellor’s Service Excellence Student Improvement Initiative Team Award – Silver Level. This system-wide commendation recognizes the tutoring team's “ability to adopt continuous-improvement methodology that emphasized student and/or employee satisfaction as well as quality of service.”
