GGC inclement weather closing

Georgia Gwinnett College will close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, due to forecasted inclement weather conditions. The campus is scheduled to reopen for normal operations on Tuesday, September 12. Any changes to this schedule will be communicated by 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12.

Free Flu Shots – Appointment Required

Protect yourself and the people around you from serious flu illness by getting the injectable flu shot, which is free for all current GGC students while supplies last.

An appointment is required. Schedule your appointment here, or by calling Health Services at 678.407.5676. If line is busy due to call volume, please leave a message with your contact information and you will receive a call back.

*Please bring a mask to enter the clinic for your appointment. Masks are REQUIRED in Health Services and one cannot be provided.

The Clothesline Project: Honoring Women Survivors and Victims of Intimate Violence

The Clothesline Project is a visual display of t-shirts designed by survivors and victims of intimate violence. Oct. 25–28, any woman who has experienced such violence, as well as victims' friends and family members, are encouraged to come to campus and design their own t-shirts.

In addition, there will be a discussion about the book "Unbound" by Tarana Burke, founder of the #metoo movement. Survivor resources will also be available.
