On Thursday, September 7, officials at Georgia Gwinnett College convened to prepare for potential impacts of Hurricane Irma. “We are carefully monitoring the progression of Hurricane Irma and the possible impact on the college campus and community,” said Terry Schneider, interim vice president of Operations. “Additionally, we are working with local and state agencies to reduce the impacts of this hurricane on our community and others across the state.”
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to ensure they are registered for the campus RAVE alert system to receive timely notifications in the event of delays or closures. Campus updates will be provided as the situation warrants.
